Founded by Dr. Ann-Marie Carbery, Alpha Gaia Capital has established itself as a premier consulting and advisory company. Dr. Ann-Marie is the CEO of Alpha Gaia Capital, bringing over two decades of leadership and strategic expertise across the energy, utilities, and construction sectors. With a proven track record in driving growth, transformation, and operational excellence, she combines deep industry insight with a forward-looking investment perspective. Ann-Marie is passionate about supporting niche projects through development, which has led AGC to become a key investor in select projects.
Before founding Alpha Gaia Capital, Ann-Marie spent five years with Accenture as a strategy consultant, advising major international and national oil companies (IOCs and NOCs) across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. She went on to lead Business Advisory services at a Boutique Consulting firm for over a decade, delivering strategic solutions to top-tier clients across the GCC. Her core expertise spans strategy development and implementation, corporate transformation, project and risk management, EPC contracting, and procurement. Ann-Marie has successfully advised on high-value EPC risk frameworks for a major NOC in Kuwait, developed global procurement and category management strategies for leading IOCs, and spearheaded new venture business plans across the Middle East—particularly in Saudi Arabia. More recently, Ann-Marie is focused on bringing project financing to select value-add projects of significant value.
Ann-Marie holds a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Manchester and a PhD in Molecular Biology, during which she published several academic papers contributing to the field. Known for her strategic vision and results-driven leadership, Ann-Marie is passionate about shaping the future of investment and innovation across the region’s evolving energy and infrastructure landscape. Under Ann-Marie’s leadership, our expert team specializes in strategic advisory, project management, and business development, helping clients navigate complex industry dynamics and achieve sustainable outcomes.
